Birthday Card for my Hubby!

This is a card I made using a new Hero Arts stamp set that just came out. It is one of the cutest sets out there!!!!




I used a technique for the background called Color Layering to get the different shades of blue (Please check out the Hero Arts Blog for a video of this technique if you are interested in learning more about it). On top of the "Birthday" stamp at the top, I added some yellow chalk to pull the yellow from the background (Bazzil Basics cardstock) onto the front of the card. There is also some VersaMark stamped on the orange strip at the bottom if you look closely!!!

Teacher Thank You Card

I created this card for my son's 4th grade teacher. Being that he is a little bit of a troublemaker, I figured he should give her something extra at the end of the school year. I found some Fiskars stamps a few weeks prior and I couldn't wait to use them, so this was the perfect opportunity! I turned the card into a gift card holder, similar to the design used on the Hero Arts blog. I used Copics to color in the coffee and coffee beans. Enjoy!
